What is at stake? It's a question that haunts us all. Why do we still care 40minutes into a film - actually forget that - 15 minutesd into a fim? And in a Suspense narrative - why are we still suspended? The movement from Act 1 into Act 2 has to increase the stakes for all our protagonists. Does Sonia really want to get into this? What will happen if she just abandons Juhi? How will she be able to live the rest of her life knowing that she could have helped her sister - at a time of her greatest need? But if she does get involved...

Steve, our new co-producer has come up with some terrifc location ideas for our third act - all of which will lift our film visually and poetically. I've been watching thriller after thriller, asking the same question - why do I suspend my disbelief? The Hurt Locker isn't a conventional thriller - but it has everything that a thriller needs to keep its audience on the edge of their seats for 90 blistering minutes. And we do really bloody care...
